Berlin, Düsseldorf, Hamburg. 24 October 2023. After twelve successful years, the communications agency navos Public Dialogue Consultants is expanding its leadership team by creating new Director and Head of Service management levels. In addition, co-founder Markus Hilse will hand over his Management Director responsibilities in Dusseldorf to Christine Seeliger, currently partner. Hilse will in future act as a Senior Advisor.

“We have successfully built up navos and are on an excellent course in terms of our expertise and team,” Hilse said. “The end of this year is the right time for me to hand over the management reins. I’m looking forward to concentrating 100 per cent on advising our clients.” Christine Seeliger added: “I’ve been part of the navos team for a decade now – I’m navos through-and-through. I’m happy to
take on more responsibility for developing the agency, and delighted about the trust being placed in me.”

Founded in 2011 by Anja Schlicht and Markus Hilse, with Jung von Matt as a partner, the agency
specialises in communication related to industrial transformation and the energy transition. “Through continuous growth we now have over 90 employees. So we now need the right structure to enable even more growth in the future,” said Managing Director Anja Schlicht. “That’s why we are expanding our leadership team. In a way that works for us: organically, with experienced colleagues who’ve been working with us for a long time.”

Going forward, the agency’s major large client teams and accounts will be led by Directors. As of 1 October 2023, those Directors are Daniel Hitschfeld for hydrogen grids, Christiane Heddenhausen and Jana Deutscher for power-grid and infrastructure expansion, Irene Österle for carbon management and energy production, and Malcolm Sullivan for international energy projects.

The new leadership structure also sees three colleagues responsible for key in-agency processes and services appointed as Head of Service: Kristin Bahrke, Head of Admin & Finance; Lars Brandt, Head of Graphic & Design; and Stephanie Pauker, Head of HR. Two years ago, navos had appointed five associate partners to be responsible for a range of topics, including the agency’s strategic and staff development.

“The colleagues who we’re now bringing into our leadership team as Directors and Heads of Service have shown that they can lead large teams with foresight and vision,” explained Managing Partner Charlotte Holzum. “And just as important: they all have that certain navos spirit, having been with us for many years. That helps us to change, while staying true to ourselves. Together, we are creating new structures that will be able to sustain future growth. In the best sense, we are shaping the future from within.”
