PLMR Partners With The Big Issue To Build Online Tool That Tracks Risk of Homelessness Levels Nationwide

PLMR and The Big Issue have developed a brand-new web tool that lets anyone find out how many people are at risk of homelessness in their constituency and how the numbers have changed throughout the pandemic.

The tool uses analysis of the Government’s official statistics on statutory homelessness, carried out by University of East Anglia, in partnership with The Big Issue and PLMR.

PLMR’s Director of Digital Alex Hackett said:

“It has been a pleasure to work with the team at The Big Issue to help highlight the rising risk of homelessness in constituencies across the country. We are always keen to find new opportunities and new ways to use our digital skills and experience to help support such important campaigns.”

PLMR’s digital team were also behind the award-winning Kids Meals Map, a partnership with the Food Foundation and Marcus Rashford to help food-insecure families find meals throughout the half-term holiday. The platform won the “Campaign Tool of The Year” award at the PRCA Digital Awards 2021.
